Your route

    How to play

    Transform the start word into the target word. Every entry must be a valid word of the same length.

    Move 1, 3, 5…: change exactly one letter in the same position. Move 2, 4, 6…: rearrange the same letters into a different word (an anagram). Keep alternating until you reach the target.

    There may be several correct routes. Your aim is to finish in as few moves as possible. Time is tracked separately. The minimum-moves figure stays hidden unless you choose to reveal it.

    About hints, results and saving

    The Hint button reveals one valid next word on a shortest route from your current position, if a route exists. It doesn't enter the word for you. Undo and Restart are free. Progress and completion are saved in this browser on this device. This playtest has no accounts or leaderboard.
